Here are 30 simple things you can do today to make your home more homey.

Entryway and Living Room:

  1. Clear out the shoe rack or entrance area.
  2. Put away items that don’t belong in the living room.
  3. Remove old magazines or newspapers.
  4. Declutter coffee tables and side tables.
  5. Return misplaced items to their designated spots.
  6. Evaluate decorative items and keep only what brings joy.
  7. Fold and organize throw blankets and pillows.
  8. Check for duplicate items and keep only one.
  9. Straighten up your bookshelf.
  10. Tidy up the entertainment center or TV stand.

Kitchen:

  1. Clear the kitchen countertops.
